"Music Central" at Central Cafe

Starting in September 2016, Central Cafe will host "Music Central" on the weekend around the second Sunday of each month.  There will be events on Friday, Saturday, and Sunday as music is "played in Glade at Central Cafe."  Here is what you can expect in September:  

FRIDAY, September 9—“Fabulous Friday” Dinner & Concert—5:45—7:30; $10 suggested donation includes concert & dinner; Spaghetti dinner served at 5:45; Songwriter’s Concert 6:30-7:30 (award winning songwriters Clinton Collins, Bill Rich, & David Ledgerwood in the round) by followed by Bluegrass Music Jam—7:45—9:00 p.m.—Free—Bring your instrument and voice and join in!

SATURDAY, September 10—“Everybody Sing!” Community Singing Workshop led by Carol Raedy from Charlotte, NC—10:00 a.m.—noon--$10 or pay what you can.  Carol teaches music lessons and classes and leads an intergenerational folk choir that promotes peace through music. The workshop is for anyone who enjoys singing.  No singing experience is required.  www.carolraedy.com

SATURDAY, September 10—7:00—9:00—“Sweet Saturday” Concert & Dessert--Electric Blues, rock ‘n’ roll favorites, original songs & dance tunes by The Max Raedy Band, 7:00—9:00; $10 suggested donation includes concert/dance, dessert bar, coffee & tea.

SUNDAY, September 11—10:00—11:00 a.m.—“Higher Plane” Informal Worship Service (Music & Sharing)—Led by David & Ann Ledgerwood.  Light breakfast at 9:30. Come as you are!  Everyone welcome!

SUNDAY, September 11—“Second Sunday Concert & Dessert”—2:00—4:00 p.m.--$10 suggested donation includes concert, dessert, coffee & tea.  Concert by award winning singer/songwriter Ed Snodderly.
